Steynerstore

A lot of experiments and improvements were carried out with this silicone, all requests of anglers were taken into account. Our product is highly thermostable and practically does not absorb water. The composition contains antioxidants (60% less toxic), as well as special lubricants that allow you not to lubricate your mold when casting silicone, but to pour it on "dry". Ready-made baits are absolutely harmless and non-toxic! The recipe for the manufacture of medical products is taken as a basis. Toys for children are also made from a similar composition.
On our website you can find quality materials for making silicone baits.

About Balista:

The testing of our LED technology

Balista is an Australian based company. As an avid fisherman I’m always looking for new ways to increase my catch rates, I went about rigorously testing a variety of electronic fishing lures, we started of with different coloured LED’s at James Cook University to see if there was any correlation between flashing LED lights and increased feeding activity from fish. Jamie Seymour from JCU in Cairns and I put the technology through its paces, what we found was fascinating. In every experiment we did the Barramundi would always attack the red LED light, it was glaringly obvious that the Barra were fascinated by the red light. Replicating this technology inside high quality lures is just as important. An LED light inside a poor quality lure is still a poor quality lure. If you can find a Balista lure that matches the hatch on a given day then you well on your way to catching more fish than your mate.

About Glowbite

Glowbite is a New Zealand fishing tackle company that is passionate about innovation, creating new and more effective ways for you to enjoy your sport.

Our company started 5 years ago when founder, Wes Braddock saw a child’s toy that contained a flashing light and thought “I wonder, if I could put that in a lure, would it attract fish?” Living in a small seaside town and fishing once or twice each week meant that Wes was able to find plenty of opportunities to test the idea with different combinations of colour and flashing lights.

Several years, and many fish dinners later, the conclusion is that lights on fishing lures really do work. Filming identical lures underwater, one with a light, and one without, has shown that fish will strike at the lure with a light up to 3x more than the lure without. These phenomenal results convinced Wes to launch Glowbite and make this technology available for everyone.

Glowbite now has patented designs for several lures and there are more on the way. We look forward to hearing from you about how Glowbite fishing innovation has helped you get more enjoyment from your fishing.
